Practice Administrator

Carol has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She attended Illinois University prior to her dental training at the Bryman School in Houston where she received her certification in dental assisting. Carol has experience working all phases of dentistry. She is also CPR certified.

Many years of experience in the dental field allows Carol the flexibility to wear many hats, from all phases of office management to assisting Dr. Salha in the treatment room.
  • Her favorite role in the office is helping our patients find the road map that works best for them to achieve their “dream smile”.
  • Carol enjoys planning the many dental events Galleria Perio Implants offer each year for continuing education for our dental community.
  • When she is not at the office, Carol can be found on the beach in Port Aransas with her husband, Travis and family.
  • Her grand-babies, Colby and Zoe, are her favorite topic of discussion.

A UTDB Houston graduate has been a caring hygienist for 13 years. 
Her patients describe her as: Thorough but gentle ~ Kind and welcoming ~ Funny and light-hearted, ~ The kind of person that makes it easy to go to the dentist
  •  Courtney is the Hygiene Continuing Education Director which host many courses for hygienists period after year 
  • When she is not working, she enjoys sports, ballet and traveling with her husband and two kids.

Insurance Specialist
  • Over 20 years of experience in the medical and dental field.
  • Insurance guru; her main duty is to successfully get treatment covered that exceed the expectation of our patients.
  •  Her kind smile and happy demeanor can be “seen” period after phone  
  • She has two awesome children and one amazing grandson, Levi. She loves spending time in nature exploring and stargazing.

Evelin

Surgical Dental Assistant
  • A caring, capable and professional dental assistant
  • A high energy assistant that can keep up with Dr. Salha!
  • She has an affinity for surgery and loves being Dr. Salha’s right hand during procedures. 
  • Constantly strives to keep learning and provide the best service and knowledge to our patients
  •  Outside of work, Evelin loves to spend time with her family, and enjoys hiking, swimming, and exercising.

Jean Smith

Hygienist, RDH

 

  • Jean graduated from University of Texas School of Dental Hygiene. She has been in periodontal practice for over 50 years. She continues to work as a hygienist because she loves what she does. Jean has many patients that have been with her for the entire 50 years. We are so delighted to have her at our office and hope she plans to stay a very long time.
  • Jean has a son and 3 wonderful grandchildren. She is always glad to share updates with anyone who asks.
  • Jean loves to travel and gets away any chance she gets. 

Lupita Cardenas

Surgical Assistant

Memo Castro

  • Memo Castro comes from a long lineage of dental technicians. He has more than 20 years in the industry. At the hand of his mentor and brother, Master Technician Victor Castro, Memo learned the legacy that has been passed down in his family for generations. In 2007, Memo graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelors in Operations Management. His experience in the dental industry, knowledge of management, and his never ending curiosity made him step into the new field of Digital driven dentistry.
  • Memo’s other passions are yoga, cycling, and rock climbing.
  • His greater motivation is his daughter Micaela.
