An Innovative Treatment Protocol for Compromised Fresh Extraction Sockets in the Aesthetic Zone
WHY VST?
No treatment delay, treat a wide scope treatment modality that treats all types of extraction sockets.
The course will be covering principles of bone grafting, anatomy and treatment of the buccal plate.
Practice on specifically fabricated VST training models, with uniquely designed VST instrument kit.
Perform VST technique to regenerate the buccal plate, place an immediate implant via cad cam protocol and make a provisional restoration.
Vestibular Socket Therapy (VST) is an innovative clinical protocol that enables treatment of a wide variety of compromised fresh extraction sites, such as those with thin or deficient labial plates or active infection, with immediate implant placement to achieve a highly predictable clinical outcome.
The protocol is designed to repair the socket osseous environment and place an immediate implant at the same time, shortening treatment time and improving patient satisfaction. This unique workshop session will highlight the concept in depth, enable clinicians to use the novel VST instrument kit and practice the full therapeutic protocol.
This presentation describes a novel clinical protocol to treat wide verities of fresh extraction sites (thin, or deficient labial plate of bone, severely compromised, actively infected) with immediate implant placement, the protocol is designed to repair any defective socket environment while placing an immediate implant at the same surgical setting thus providing immediacy also proven to offer an unpreceded predictable clinical outcome. This course will highlight the extensively published studies using the VST protocol with a special emphasis on the long term (three years) follow up data. The VST protocol offers shortened treatment time, reduced the number of surgical interventions to only one, preserve the original socket orifice topography with minimal or no mid facial post restorative recession, and allowed the total socket rehabilitation.
In this unique course you will get the opportunity to try specially fabricated training VST models, newly designed VST instruments Kit , and learn how to place immediate implants via cad cam on the training model , and watch the unique VST animations that facilitate the complete understanding of the concept.
